'The Mean Solar Times' (Picture in my Ear Records, Rock Indiana) is the fifth album by Stay, psych rockers from Barcelona. It is produced and recorded by the britpop guru Owen Morris (Oasis, The Verve) and includes guitar contributions from Andy Bell (Ride, Hurricane#1, Oasis, Beady Eye) on the tracks, 'Smiling Faces', 'Pinkman', 'You Know It's Right' and 'Dirty And Alone'. The whole album goes beyond their last psychedelic works, mixing overdrived guitars, synths, hammonds and sitars with top tunes and powerful sound.

Stay is an indie/psych rock band from Barcelona since 2001. They have a 6 LP career and some sold out EPs in the UK. They supported Beady Eye, Pretty Things, Ocean Colour Scene and Daniel Wylie's CRR. Stay are a mix of fresh soft psychedelic sounds, early Charlatans or Fools Gold-era Roses sound-like as coetaneous bands like Temples, Elephant Stone, Woods or Tame Impala.
