Stay are back on the Fruits de Mer label after far too long away and they have recorded their take on The Move's classic sixties song, 'I Can Hear The Grass Grow' exclusively for this release; they combine it with a new mix of 'Get Going' from their latest album - Supergrass meets Oasis in Barcelona?
"I Can Hear The Grass Grow" was originally released by The Move in 1967. The song keeps the hallucinogenic feeling of the original, but Stay crank up the psych element with some 12 string guitar experimentation; the song has been mixed and mastered by Latin Grammy award-winning producer Roger Rodés.
"Get Going (UK Version)" is a pounding slice of glam/psychedelic rock extracted from Stay's latest LP "Old Sounds Of Modern Music" (Magic Mountain Records, 2021), but remixed by Roger Rodés. It was recorded during a series of pandemic sessions to encourage listeners to stand up and fight for their lives and rights after months of strict restrictions in Spain.

lyrics
I know you can’t hear me, even though, you're right here everyday
I know you can’t feel me, babe you know, I’ll be here anyway
I know, you’ve been lying, most of the time, I feel like I’m dying
I don’t know the reasons turned you this way, so cold
You tear all my dreams down, you locked me away (and I) still have no place now,
I don’t know why I must feel all alone, and so low
I’ll keep on trying, I can wait for you, but it means pain
I’ve seen you crying, and I feel the same
Waiting to fall, hiding my face, I’ll fade like the moon , someday
Everyone lies, making me feel so down
I know you can’t hear me, even though, you're right here everyday
I know you can’t see me, even though, you're not blind nor away
I know you can’t feel me, babe you know I’m still your hideaway
I know you can’t hear me, but babe you know, I’ll be here anyway
